Volunteer Program

Volunteer Hours: Volunteer hours are determined by the type of program or activity individuals choose to participate in.

Volunteer Profile: Community members with a desire to contribute to the development and improvement of their communities. Volunteers should have the committment necessary to start and finish important projects.

Incentives:

  • Volunteer Rewards Program: Every time you participate in a volunteer activity with CU we enter a ticket with your name into a drawing for a prize that is conducted at the end of each month. The more you volunteer, the more tickets you get, thus the higher your chances of winning the monthly prize!
  • Recomendation letter for academic or professional purposes.
  • In case of a job opening in Comunidades Unidas, active and past volunteers will have priority.
  • CU is registered in the national "President's Volunteer Service Award Program."
