Ventanilla de Salud
(Health Booth)
The Ventanilla de Salud (VDS) is a program developed by the Secretary of Health, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Mexico and the Institute for Mexicans Abroad. This program is implemented throughout all 50 Mexican Consulates in the United States and they are run by local community based organizations.

Comunidades Unidas is the fiscal agency of the Ventanilla de Salud in Salt Lake City. The goal of the program is to improve the physical and mental health of Latinxs living in the the state of Utah and western Wyoming.
We collaborate with different partners around the state to connect our clients with the services they need. Comunidades Unidas works to provide culturally appropriate information to ensure every Latinx in Utah becomes a healthy, self-sufficient, and engaged member of the community.
