Meet CU Volunteer, Leon Johnson!

"I am a native of Utah. I lived here most of my life. I am a semi invalid. I live in a foster home in West Valley City. I am a veteran of the Korean War. I was a state side commando.What is a state side commando? A recruit who never saw overseas duty. Not a real commando.

I am a history buff. That’s what got me interested in politics. I have been a political activist, off and on, much of my life. Currently, in addition to Comunidades Unidas, I am a member of the American Civil Liberties Union, and active in their People Power organization. Recently I also joined the Sierra Club.
