Many years ago, Brandy committed her life to ensure that crime victims receive available resources to keep them safe. As a survivor of numerous crimes, Brandy is skilled at encouraging professionals, service providers, educators, and communities to understand exactly why, when, and where victims need their help. She is able to accomplish this goal by helping to give them a perspective on how victims view the world.

 

Through her accomplishments, she has become a successful role model for victims and survivors. Her relentless efforts, dedication, and inspiration have resulted in bettering the plight of victims. She has over 30 years of experience of being actively engaged in the legislative process; testifying before legislative committees urging support of desperately needed services and funding for domestic violence services, and statutes to protect victims.
