Immigrant Rights Organizer

Eva graduated with her Associates of Arts from Salt Lake Community College in 2020. Eva's engagement with Comunidades Unidas started in 2020 as a volunteer. She was drawn to Comunidades Unidas when she saw the need in her community and saw how COVID-19 disproportionately impacted our community. 

As a promotora, she has been responsible for contacting the families, doing case management work, and has aided with the chromebook distribution to families in our community. Working for Comunidades Unidas has allowed her to connect families with resources as well as assisting in the drive thru food distribution. As a new addition to Comunidades Unidas team, she looks forward to enhancing the access to education, information and resources to families in our community. 

Fun facts: Eva likes listening to music, watching k-dramas, and cooking different appetizing food recipes. Her favorite recipes are home-styles Mexican food.
