Stephanie A. Howarth at the age of 20 currently serves in the United States Air Force and is also an active volunteer at Comunidades Unidas. She is involved with CU’s “Vote for 2” voter education and engagement campaign. She has shown her support through the making of a “Voting Rights Timeline”. This banner now follows us at every event in hopes that anyone who catches a glance at it learns a piece of information of the history of voting. To Stephanie the banner represents the importance of voting. “If voting did not make a difference, then I would not have the opportunity to have a say as a woman and serve my country.” Stephanie urges our communities to register to vote.
