Comunidades Unidas joined the One Million by 2020 campaign, spearheaded by the National Partnership for New Americans, with the goal of getting one million new citizens naturalized in time to participate in the 2020 elections.

Samuel Del Rio applied for citizenship through Comunidades Unidas’ immigration clinic and voted in the 2018 election for the first time!
